Aeolos was founded as a General Agency in 1933, and became thirteen years later, on June 1, 1946, the very first Travel Agency of the island, even before Cyprus had its own National Airline! On 1st June 1961 Aeolos was appointed General Sales Agent for Swissair and since then has gone from strength to strength. In 1967 Aeolos was acquired from Francoudi & Stephanou, one of the largest and diversified Group of Companies in Cyprus.
